In this course, you will be tutored by those who have provided excellence in The Woodlands for the last 15 years and 25 years of expertise in the field. In addition, our small class size philosophy helps us make sure our students get the one-on-one attention they deserve.

The Laser Hair Removal Course covers both the science and application of 4 types of laser hair removal devices as well as laser hair removal training. This is necessary for students who are looking to find employment in medical spas, physicians’ offices and clinics.

The Avante Laser Training Institute is certified and highly recognized by the state, Texas Department of License and Regulations, as well as Texas Workforce Commission for the state of Texas Laser Hair Removal Technician license.

Do I need a License to do Laser Hair Removal?

It depends on your state, as some states do not require any special license. However, most states require that the technician be a licensed cosmetologist or esthetician.

What are the different types of LHR Licenses?

APPRENTICE IN TRAINING - 40 Hour Laser Hair Removal certification course provides the study of theory, practice and science of laser hair removal procedures.
CERTIFIED LASER TECHNICIAN - By completing 100 Hands-on Treatments, the student is able to expedite his or her registration status with TDLR.
SENIOR LASER TECHNICIAN - In this level, it is required that you Observe 100 Hands-on Treatments being performed by an apprentice.
PROFESSIONAL LASER TECHNICIAN - This is the final, highest level. In this level, it is required to take a written exam. Once you have completed the exam and reached a passing grade, you will receive a Professional Laser Technician certificate. To obtain your Professional Laser Technician License from the state you must mail a copy of your certificate along with the application and state processing fees.

40 Hours Laser Hair Removal Apprentice in Training

100 Hands-on Treatments to become a Certified Laser Technician

AND

750 hours of Elite Esthetics Training to fulfill the Esthetician License requirements set forth by the Texas Department of Rules and Regulation (TDLR)

What Are Classroom Hours?

We offer the following schedules for the first 750 Hours of Elite Esthetics:

Full-time Days - 8:30am to 2:30pm Monday through Friday for approx. 6 months
Part-time Days - 8:30am to 2:15pm Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday for approx. 10 months.
Part-time Nights - 6pm to 10:30pm Monday through Thursday for approx. 10 months.

What Is Tuition/Costs?
